Kingdom Discipleship Church (KDC) values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we collect, use and safeguard your information when you interact with our website, services and ministries.

Information we collect

We may collect personal details such as your name, email, phone number and address when you submit a form, create a members area account or register for an event. Our forms ask for your explicit consent before we store anything.

How we use your data

We use your information for church administration, pastoral care, communication and to provide the services you request. Prayer requests are seen only by the people you choose on the form.

Gift Aid

If you make a Gift Aid declaration, we keep your name, house name or number, postcode and a record of your gifts so that we can claim Gift Aid from HMRC, as the law requires.

We keep Gift Aid records for at least six years after the end of the tax year of the gift, as HMRC requires. You can cancel your Gift Aid declaration at any time by contacting us or through the members area.

Online giving

Online gifts are processed securely by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by KDC. Stripe shares with us your name, email address, the amount and date of your gift, and the fund you chose, so that we can thank you, send receipts and keep our accounts. If you set up a monthly gift, you can change or cancel it at any time using the link to manage your giving on our Give page, or by contacting us.

Photos

We only use photos of members on our website and social media when they have given consent. You can change your choice at any time by contacting us.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We only share it where the law requires it, or with trusted services that help us run the church on our behalf: Microsoft Azure (website hosting and the emails our website sends), Stripe (online giving) and HMRC (Gift Aid claims). Maps from Google and videos from YouTube only load when you choose to view them, and are covered by Google’s own privacy policy.

Data security

We take appropriate measures to protect your data from unauthorised access or disclosure.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or request deletion of your personal data. Contact us at info@kdc.church with any privacy questions.

We may update this policy from time to time, so please check it regularly. This policy was last updated in October 2026.

Who we are

Kingdom Discipleship Church, 522 Goresbrook Road, Dagenham, RM9 4XA, is the data controller for the information you give us. We are a registered charity in England and Wales, number 1209223. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office.
